A psycholinguist and applied / educational linguist by training I came to counselling when I was working as a lecturer and was looking for ways of supporting my students better, especially in times of pressure and distress. After Covid and some personal obstacles I qualified with Chrysalis in December 2023. Since then I have been working as a counsellor with a charity and later on as a counsellor and psychotherapist in my own practice. Following a pluralistic, person-centred approach means to me that the person who comes to me and I form a team and encounter the issues that brings the person to therapy with selected tools from different approaches – never ‘one size fits all’. Issues I can help with include grief, bereavement and loss, depression, trauma, OCD, self-confidence issues, phobias, family and relationship issues. I am also working with adults who are suffering from abuse they had to endure as children. If you feel that we would make a good team, please get in touch. Your sessions can be held in English or German.
