I am a married mum with 2 teenage boys, and fully understand the pressures of modern life on all members of a family.
I have always felt a deep empathy with others, and so was drawn to counselling. I have a small private practice in my home town, and run this alongside my work as a civil servant.
I have an adaptable approach to the needs of my clients, and can offer a variety of styles, such as person-centred, psycho-dynamic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)- but don’t let these terms put you off- I’m very friendly, and will adapt a style to best suit my clients and their needs!
I have come to specialise in Greif and Bereavement counselling, however, I offer my services for a variety of issues, such as anxiety depression and even addiction. I can also offer Hypnotherapy where appropriate.
I am comfortable with clients from all walks of life, including the LGBTQ+ community and can offer evening and weekend appointments.
I would usually suggest a minimum of six sessions, but this is reviewed on a mutual basis throughout the course of the sessions.
Let’s have a chat, and see how I can help!
