My name is Steve, and I’m a person-centred therapist working both online and in person from my private practice in Rochester, Kent. I originally trained as a pluralistic therapist, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches—including person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, and existential—tailored to each client’s individual needs.
I have a particular interest in Existential Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I frequently work with clients navigating complex trauma, issues around sexuality and gender, addiction, and mindfulness practices.
I have recently completed a research-based Master’s degree, deepening my understanding of how therapy can meaningfully support personal growth and transformation. I believe therapy is a collaborative and creative process—more art than science—where genuine connection and mutual respect are key.
Whether online or in my home in Kent, I aim to offer a safe, open, and non-judgemental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered on their healing journey.
